How to Order

Ordering through Special Shaadi Cards is easy and requires a little effort, however, if you struggle then please call us on 020 8586 1000.

Here are the 6 steps you need to take to put an order through:

1. Choose your cards and add them to basket:

  • You can directly type your text in the text box given (1), don’t worry about the formatting of the text, we will do that for you and email you a proof layout PDF to check and approve.
  • Or you can attach a text file that contains your wedding invite details. (2)
  • Choose number of cards you want and then press the “Add to Basket” button. (3)

2. When you are ready, go to Cart (1) or Basket (2).


3. While on Cart page:

  • You can add Additional Inserts for other events like reception, mehndi, ladies sangeet etc. by clicking on “Add more inserts” button. (1)
  • If you have the coupon code then simply type the code in text box given and click “Apply Coupon” button. (2)
  • And then click “Proceed to checkout” button. (3)

4. If you clicked on “Add more inserts” button on cart page then you will be taken to “Additional Inserts” product page:

  • Where you can type text for additional insert to be printed on. (1)
  • Or upload a text file that contains the text to be printed on inserts. (2)
  • Give a name for your additional insert, e.g. reception, mehndi etc. (3)
  • Choose number of inserts and then click on “Add to Basket” button. (4)

5. On Checkout page you will be prompted to login or register:

  • If you have shopped with us before then click on “Returning customer” button. (1)
  • Otherwise enter your details and check the “Create an account” button” to register. (2)
  • And then create a password for your newly created account.
  • If you had an account before then after clicking on “Returning Customer” button you will be taken to login page where you will add you username/email & password and click on “Login” button.
  • After creating a new account or logging in to an existing account you will able to see the details of your order. Type in your Credit/Debit Card credentials to complete payment process.
  • Add your card credentials. (1) And then click on “Place order” button. (2).

6. On successful order you will see a notification on the same page which will contain your order number, date, email etc.


You will also receive an email from us which will contain your order details.

Within 24 hours of you placing the order we will email you a proof layout of the invite with your details, for your chosen card, exactly how it will be printed in the right colours, fonts etc. You can then come back to us with any amendments or ask as to print and dispatch. We will not print until you are happy and tell us to print.

On approval of the proof your cards will be printed and delivered within 48 working hours, this is for orders within the UK. For most other countries your cards will be with you within 5 working days after approval of proof.
